Rev'd Dr Mariama Ifode-Blease

Hello

Hello, I’m Mariama. I love people and working with them to help them flourish.

Currently, I lead the Salters’ Institute, an independent education non-profit in London, focused on making chemistry and the related sciences accessible to all. I combine this with being a part-time priest in the Church of England, and my church home is St James’s Piccadilly, London.

The driving force in my life is a commitment to children, young people, and women, and to making the world a safer and more just place for them. I have over 15 years’ experience in education and the non-profit sector and am committed to making a difference through positive social change.  I think we can do better than what we see on the news every day. Intellectually, I thrive solving problems and working collaboratively to find creative and innovative solutions to challenges we all face. I love bringing out the potential in others and enabling others to connect to their own potential. I want them to see they too have a role in making the world a more equitable place.
